Abstract
It is shown that, in crystalline and amorphous solids, the closed pore always contains gas, the pressure of which should be taken into account when calculating the rate that the pore size varies. Sets of differential equations describing the kinetics of varying the pore size and gas pressure in pore are suggested for two mechanisms of behavior of closed in compact powders. The behavior of the pores is analyzed for the general case at comparable values of the surface tension forces, gas pressure, and external pressure, as well as for various particular cases. The features of behavior of the pores in an infinite space and in the solid of final sizes, with the slow and rapid diffusion of the gas in the solid, if the filled with one-atomic and two-atomic gasses, and of the ensemble of the pores are established. The causes are analyzed, and methods for calculating the swelling of the articles at the final stage of sintering are suggested.

Abstract
A review of the currently effective Russian national standards for methods of platinum metal and alloy analysis has been made, many of the standards being obsolete as for their content and the analytical procedures used. Some problems of the development of the new national standards have been described and the way of problem solving has been suggested.

Abstract
This paper reports results producing anode-supported YSZ electrolyte thin films by magnetron sputtering method for solid oxide fuel cell applications. Pulsed electron-beam treatment was used for preprocessing porous anode substrates for the purpose reducing their surface porosity. Microstructures of the anode substrates before and after electron-beam modification as well as samples with YSZ electrolyte films have been investigated. Current - voltage and powered characteristics of experimental fuel cell was measured.

Abstract
Platinum metals and their compounds are now widely used as catalysts for water electrolysis and fuel cells. We propose a new approach to the synthesis of nanoparticles. As model experiment we realized synthesis of palladium diacetate nanoparticles of controlled size. As special condition for new phase grow was chosen far from equilibrium boundary between two liquids [2]. Under this condition gradient of chemical potential the water - tetrahydrofuran (THF) interface was a powerful regulating factor of the palladium diacetate (II) particle size.

Abstract
This article presents a study on degree of influence of formalized structural characteristics of ionic liquids, such as length of alkyl radical of cation, degree of cation's symmetry, type of cation, type of anion and some others, on homogeneous and heterogeneous characteristics of mixtures of ionic liquids with organic substances.

Abstract
Different values describing both the efficiency of rectification column and the efficiency of mass-transfer are represented in the brief literature review. It is also showed that the approach used for the calculation of mass-transfer efficiency characteristics in binary mixtures is not very acceptable for multi-component mixtures.

Abstract
The possibility of a technique application revealing the probable existence area triple azeotrope, based on analysis of concentration dependences of activity coefficient complexes in liquid phases, in stratified zeotropic mixtures, mixtures containing triple homo- or heteroazeotrope has been investigated. The peculiarity of gamma-lines course in triple stratified mixtures has been estimated.
