Education and Academic Career

Alexander N. Ozerin graduated from the Department of Molecular and Chemical Physics at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology in 1974. He received his Candidate of Sciences degree in 1977, and a Doctor of Sciences degree in 1992.

Between 1977 and 1993, Alexander N. Ozerin worked at the L.Ya. Karpov Institute of Physical Chemistry. Between 1993 and 2002, he was the Head of the Laboratory of Polymer Structure and the Deputy Head at the N.S. Enikolopov Institute of Synthetic Polymer Materials.

Alexander N. Ozerin was elected as the Corresponding Member of the RAS in 1997.

Since 2002, Ozerin has been the Head of the N.S. Enikolopov Institute of Synthetic Polymer Materials. At present, he is the Scientific Lead of the Institute.

Research Interests and Activities

Alexander N. Ozerin is a specialist in the field of physics and physical chemistry of polymers. His research concerns the following areas:

– physics and mechanics of polymer materials and composites;

– polymer structures;

– molecular modeling;

– X-ray analysis.

Alexander N. Ozerin is the Head of the Department of Polymer Physics at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. He is also a Professor at the Department of Macromolecular Compounds at the Faculty of Chemistry, M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University. Alexander N. Ozerin is a member of the Editorial Board of Tonkie Khimicheskie Tekhnologii [Fine Chemical Technologies].

Publications

Alexander N. Ozerin has authored and co-authored approximately 200 scientific publications.
