Journal History

The journal published between February 2006 and February 2015 was titled Vestnik MITHT (ISSN print 1819-1487). The Publisher of the journal from 2006 to 2011 was the M.V. Lomonosov Moscow Academy of Fine Chemical Technologies, and from 2011 until 2015, the M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University of Fine Chemical Technologies (in Russian abbreviated MITHT). The journal has always been included in the list of the Higher Attestation Commission. From 2006 to 2014 the journal primarily published articles by the MITHT employees and graduate students to meet the requirements of the Higher Attestation Commission. In 2015, to satisfy the interests of a wider audience of readers and authors, including the MITHT graduates, as well as to expand the subject areas of the journal, by the decision of the Editorial Board, the journal was renamed to Tonkie Khimicheskie Tekhnologii [Fine Chemical Technologies]. In recent years, the journal has successfully developed and the quality of publications has improved. The topics of the published research have been expanded, as have the geographical origins of the authors. In 2015, the M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University of Fine Chemical Technologies became a part of the Moscow Technological University, later renamed to MIREA – Russian Technological University (RTU MIREA), which is the current Publisher of the journal.
